Name: Princess Peach Toadstool
Peach has been through many adventures, mostly as the damsel in distress. For a good reason, too; she was the only one who could heal the Musrhoomians, and Bowser didn't want that to hapen. So he kept her away from her people. Mario's relationship with her is fuzzy(most likely they're more than friends) and she's just friends with Luigi. Toad is her most loyal mushroom retainer, and they're friends to boot.
In Super Mario RPG, we see what healing powers she had that Bowser wanted to keep locked up. Only in four games, Super Mario Bros. 2(Western), Super Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG, and Mario Kart 64 did she show the Mushroom Kingdom what she was made of.
