Sparkster

Sparkster is a war orphan who was taken in by Mifune Sanjulo. Sanjulo raised Sparkster to be a Rocket Knight, a warrior for the Zebulos Kingdom. (The Rocket Knights wear steel armor and fight with jetpacks and swords.) When Axle Gear the Black Knight destroyed Sanjulo, Sparkster became the leader of the Rocket Knights, and Axle Gear became his arch nemesis.
Sparkster tries to act as a wandering outlaw, but he will defend justice. He is somewhat careless and "is easily pleased by praise or flattery."

In Rocket Knight Adventures, he sought to destroy Devilgus Devotindos and his Devotindos Empire, full of pigs.
In Sparkster: RKA 2, SEGA version, Sparkster works to stop the Gedol Empire from swallowing up Elhorn, the center of which rests Zebulos. After Axle Gear takes Princess Cherry, Princess Sherry begs Sparkster to save Cherry.
In Sparkster: RKA 2, Nintendo version, Sparkster is out to save Princess Flora from Generalissimo Lioness and retrieve the magic Peace Pendant, thus saving Planet Eginasem.

While Princess Cherry, younger of the princesses of Zebulos, loves Sparkster, he sees her as a mere admirer. He truly loves Princess Sherry, who returns the love and help and can't help but worry for Sparkster.
