Paper Mario Guide
Chapter 3
Toad Town | Forever Forest | Boo's Mansion | Gusty Gulch | Showdown with Tubba Blubba
Toad Town
Simply go into the area north of the train and
go over the east bridge.
Forever Forest
Buy a Zap Tap badge at Rowf's store if you
haven't already, and put it on at all costs. It will be extremely useful against
Forest Fuzzies, which can't hurt you with it on. Thus, when you encounter them,
you can take your sweet time and save your FP for Piranha Plants.
Find your way
through Forever Forest here.
Boo's Mansion
Search all over. Use the Weight on the
chandellier, and you can figure out the rest. No battling here.
Gusty Gulch
Go into the ghost town, avoiding the Hyper
Paragoombas, use the Heart and Save Blocks. In the path, raise yourself so that
you get 25 HP, 20 FP, and 9 BP. Put on a Plus Flower badge(to raise your FP from
20 to 25) if you have one.
Showdown with Tubba Blubba
Just explore every room. Use
Bow to get past the guards, to avoid the spikes in the spike floor room, and
also for hiding from Tubba Blubba near the end. When you get Yakkey, dash out to
the windmill(healing yourself and saving on your way past the town).
Avoid
the Hyper Goombas outside and inside the windmill. When you get to Tubba
Blubba's Heart, just Jump on it and go invisible when the heart charges up.
Using this strategy, the battle should be easy. Then, when you get out, use a
Power Bounce and one Slap attack. Tubba should give in quickly.
