Super Mario Sunshine Guide
Ricco Harbor

Gooper Blooper Breaks Out
Go straight forward from the starting point. When Mario is on the boat, climb the fence up and jump off. Once he is high enough, use the hover nozzle to redirect his jump and land on top of the fence. Now Mario can easily make his way to the land on the left of the boat. Break the boxes to open up a tunnel. Once Mario has done that, get back on top of the boat, and side-jump Mario to the top of the smoke stack. From there he can hover close to the low land surrounded by sludge. If Mario lands in it, get him out as soon as possible. Then he should ride the lift up to the raised land on the left. Once there, back track to break some boxes for a tunnel, fill up in the fountain, and heal Mario with some coins. Now go straight backwards towards the boxes and pull out the tentacle with the B button and back on the analog control stick. Gooper Blooper will come out. Pull off at least two tentacles, then wash his face off. Mario can only grab the tentacles after they have slammed the ground. He will get hurt if they hit him, but the Gooper Blooper will give a few seconds warning before doing anything. Now he can grab the cork in his mouth. Pull it off the way he does with tentacles. Repeat that to win.

Blooper Surfing Safari
Ride a blooper to the right of the starting point into the cave shown in the entrance scene. Once inside, Mario will see a hidden race track. Talk to the man to start. If Mario needs a hard turn, press down and the direction of the turn. Forward speeds the blooper up, and A makes it jump. Try to jump over obstacles but not corners.

The Caged Shine Sprite
There is nothing I can really say here. Whenever Mario can climb higher, go for it. Also, keep the rocket nozzle once you find it. Bloopers will get knocked off with a squirt from FLUDD, so Mario should stay far from the bloopers and shoot them before they can do the same to Mario.

The Secret of Ricco Tower
You will want to grab the rocket nozzle for this one. Rocket to the top of any constructions parts you like, then rocket again to the top of the tower. Once inside, Mario will see a lot of rotating blocks (all rotating towards the right). Scurry along them as best you can, never resting. Jump when the up side is starting to fall. When Mario reaches the gears, time it right so that the first one is heading right, the second one is going right towards the first one. Wait for the third one to come near the center, then jump off to the platform. Then the rolling blocks come again, except this time they roll towards you. Just keep in mind what you did for the first set, and Mario should grab the shine in no time. When Mario comes back in Episode 5, there will be a red coin challenge in that room.

Gooper Blooper Returns
This shine is the same as the first shine, except Mario shouldn't ride the lift. Instead, hover over to the rocket nozzle and rocket onto the fence. Climb around until you find a place where he can come up.
