Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan by BBro
Developer: Konami
Publisher: Konami
Genre: Action
Year released: 1990
Number of Players: 1
The Shredder has captured April O’ Neal, and the TMNT must save her!
TMNT:
FOTFC features five different levels, with several different enemies
and a
boss for each level.
Visuals: (73%)
The graphics aren’t that great, but hey, at least the Turtles and the
enemies are recognizable.
Sounds: (77%)
Other than the remixed TMNT theme on the first level, the sound is
somewhat
average.
Gameplay (78%)
The game is fairly repetitive. It involves you walking from the
beginning to
the end, while fighting enemies that appear out of nowhere to get to
the
boss. The length of the game is very short: there are only five
different
levels! The Turtles don’t really have any differences, other than the
reach
of their weapon. Surprisingly, I think Don doesn’t have the longest
reach…
it’s either Leo or Mike, for some odd reason. Anyway, the gameplay
could’ve
been a lot better.
Replayability: (62%)
Five levels won’t take very long to beat. Only the Level 4 boss and
Level 5
and its boss will provide the difficulty.
Personal Score: (82%)
Bottom Line:
FOTFC is a really short game, and isn’t too difficult. Could’ve been a
lot
better.
Final Score: (74%) C
