![]() ![]() Year Released: 1994(Game Boy). Re-released in 1996. Number of Players: 1 Once again, Donkey Kong has kidnapped Pauline and it's Mario to the rescue again! But this game isn't so short. After the original four levels are completed you still have 96 to go before Pauline is finally safe! Graphics: The graphics are better than the original, but have only black and white(unless you're playing on Super Game Boy or Game Boy Color). Everything is well animated and easy to see. Play Control: The play control is about equal to that of the original. But this time, Mario has many more moves. He can do a backflip and even a handstand. You can even throw a hammer up to the next platform so you can pick it up again and use it there! Sound: The sound and music has changed. The sound effects sound mostly the same as the original, even that annoying sound Mario makes when he walks. Argh! Challenge: Much more challenging than the original with its 96 extra levels, ven more strategy is involved in this game! The Bottom Line: A great, challenging, nostalgic portable game. Just don't scream too much when you get frustrated, or you might get left at the side of the road if you're playing this in a vehicle. Just a little warning...
