![]() ![]() Year Released: 2001(N64) Number of Players: 1-4 simultaneously Once again, the viruses have invaded the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario has to cure them. But Wario and Dr. Scienstein want his miracle cure to make them rich! If you're addicted to puzzlers, Mario's got the cure for you. Graphics: The graphics are'nt 3D, but then again, does anyone really need 3D Dr. Mario? Heck, Mario even dances, and you can't beat that. Play Control: This is incredibly simple. Use the control pad to move the pills around, and A or B to rotate the pills. Some people may not like that you can't use the analog stick to move pills as well, though. Sound: Not much in the way of sound effects except the characters talking, but the music is excellent. Some of it is remixes from previous versions of Dr. Mario, and it sure is catchy. Challenge: At first it's pretty easy, but once you get to higher levels, it gets incredibly frantic. You can set the speed and starting level, and computer characters have varying degrees or difficulty. The greatest challenge, or course is multiplayer. Yes, 4-player Dr. Mario is finally here. The Bottom Line: This is a great puzzler, and one of the only ones on the N64. If you love Dr. Mario or puzzle games, Dr. Mario 64 is just what the doctor ordered. Related Links
