Game and Watch Gallery Review

Genre: Action

Year Released: 1997(Game Boy)

Number of Players: 1

If you grew up playing video games in the '80s, then you might remember those Nintendo handheld games called Game & Watch. Well, this game includes 4 of them-Fire, Manhole, Octopus, and Oil Panic, with both Classic versions with the original displays and sounds, and Modern versions in which you play as Mario and Co.!

Graphics: With the exception of the Classic versions, everything is detailed and well-animated.

Play Control: It's easy to control. You probably guessed that.

Sound: The music in the Modern versions is great, but the sounds in the Classic versions are VERY annoying. It's a wonder how people could stand that beeping all the time.

Challenge: These games start out nice n' slow, but gradually get faster until your reflexes are getting a total workout. You'll have to be pretty fast to get high scores in those games...

The Bottom Line: If you're one of those nostalgic people or want a game that's fast-paced, try it out. If you don't like mindless games, try a puzzle game instead.
