![]() ![]() Genre: Action Year Released: 1990 (NES). Also made an appearance in Super Mario All-Stars (1993, SNES) and Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 (2003, Game Boy Advance). Number of Players: 1 or 2 alternating or simultaneously Bowser is back and meaner than ever! For a second time Mario and Luigi must stop him and his diabolical kids who have turned the rulers of 7 worlds into animals, which leads to a showdown with Bowser in his own world! Graphics: The graphics are excellent by NES standards and everything is animated well. Need I say more? Play Control: If you've read any other reviews, you know I'm going to say it's easy to control. Sound: The sounds are very well suited to a Mario game, and the music is great. You've gotta love the beat, especially the sound of those drums! Challenge: This game is a great challenge! With 8 worlds to explore, secrets to find and a ton of baddies to defeat, why shouldn't you play this game? The Bottom Line: This game is easily a candidate for best Mario game of all time. You have no excuse not to play it, so get out there, and try it out! Fun Facts This is the best selling video game of all time. Yup, even Pokémon hasn't surpassed it. The design team originally wanted a power up that turned Mario into a centaur (half man, half horse)! This game also had a cartoon about it, called (you guessed it) Super Mario Bros. 3. Did you know that the Koopa Kids were all named after famous singers, musicians, and composers? For example, Ludwig von Koopa is named after the famous composer Ludwig von Beethoven.
Golem says: Guess what part of the title was exculsive to the Western game. ~rolls his eyes~ ~coughBROScough~ Related Links Lists (Item List, Enemies List) Reports(Is Peach as Weak as We Make Her Out to Be?) Explanations(Mario Bros. Life Story) Fan Art-Behind Peach's Letters by Golem
