Super Mario RPG Review

Genre: RPG

Year Released: 1996(SNES)

Number of Players: 1

Bowser kidnaps Peach again, but just as Mario is about to defeat him, a giant sword crashes down into Bowser's castle. The sword, Smithy, and his minions invade the world. With the help of some allies-Mallow, Geno, Peach, and even Bowser, Mario must rid the land of Smithy and his army!

Graphics: These sure are great graphics for the SNES. They look almost 3D. The animations and effects are also great looking, whether it's Mrio hurling fireballs or Geno's Star Gun pelting enemies.

Play Control: Everything is easy to control, even in the three-quarter view, and the battle system is incredibly easy to use. Just push a button and select an ability or item. It's easy as that.

Sound: The music and sound are top notch, just like with just about every Mario game.

Challenge: This game may not be as challenging as some other RPGs, but it still provides a fun and exciting adventure where the challenge is just right.

The Bottom Line: This is a great game, easily one of my favorite SNES games, so try it out! However, if you don't like RPGs, don't bother.
