![]() ![]() Genre: Action Year Released: 1994(Game Boy) Number of Players: 1 Captain Syrup and the pirates of the Brown Sugar Gang have stolen a statue of Princess Peach from Mario. Wario wants to steal the statue so he can trade it to a genie for a castle even bigger and grander than Mario's! Graphics: Wario looks just like his old, greedy self, and the levels and enemies are all greatly detailed. It's still easy to see, though, even in black and white. Play Control: The game is easy to control, though Wario (especially small Wario) moves very slowly. Sound: The music and sounds are great. They also have the traditional Mario feel to them, with a little Wario twist... Challenge: This game is pretty challenging. Some levels are very easy, while others can get frustratingly impossible if you don't know what to do or your timing is off. The Bottom Line: This is a great portable platformer. If you like Mario platform games or just want to step into the shoes of Mario's rival, this game is for you. Fun Facts This is the first time Wario stars in his own game.
