Yoshi's Cookie Review

Genre: Puzzle

Year Released: 1993(NES, Game Boy, SNES)

Number of Players: 1 or 2 simultaneously

Yoshi's baking cookies-LOTS of cookies. And Mario has to keep the oven from getting full by arranging the cookies so all the cookies in a row are the same to eliminate them. Watch it, this different kind of puzzle game can get incredibly hectic!

Graphics: The graphics are pretty good on every system, and nice and clear, too, even on the Game Boy, which is needed for a puzzle game.

Play Control: Setting up a game and playing is incredibly easy. Just hold down a button and use the control pad to move the cookies into place.

Sound: Nice music and simple sounds go well with this puzzle game, even if they don't really sound like a Mario game.

Challenge: This game is incredibly challenging on the higher levels. You often have to think fast because the cookies have almost filled the screen, threatening to end the game. You have to act fast, since the cookies build up gradually faster each time.

The Bottom Line: Another great puzzle game for any puzzle fans, regardless if they like Mario or not. This is a great alternative to Tetris, especially on the Game Boy.
