Luigi's Mansion

Intro: Ok, Welcome to my Luigi's Mansion review! I'm the first staffer to grab a GameCube and keep Luigi's Mansion. I got it the day it all came out, the day life went Cubed for me! This is one of the most anticipated titles of the year. Well, for those who Have been hiding under a rock, the game has Luigi, and he stars in his 2nd starring role in a game. Sadly, his 1st, Mario is Missing, well, you know how it went, but I promise this game is da bomb. It has Luigi sucking up Ghosts here and there!

Audio: The Sounds of coins clattering returns! The Audio isn't a step up really. But its surprising Koji Kondo didn't compose the music. I was freaked and thought he did. But good job to whoever did it.I liked it how he called out for Mario and whistled and hummed with the music.

Visual: OK, sometimes I wonder if i'm in a Haunted House full of ghosts, or just playing a video game. Yes, theres no more blocky figures! You could see everything clearly. I LOVE THE GRAPHICS! BIG STEP UP FROM N64!

Replay Value: Sort of. You can try to re beat the game trying to get more coins to get a bigger house. So theres not much in this area.

Controls: Great use of GCN controller. The only button not used was the blue Z button. You move by the Man analog stick, control your elements and vaccum with the C stick, turn of ya flashlight with B, suck up ghosts with R, fire elements with L, and finally use your X and Y buttons to use your Game Horror.

Story: Very Original. Luigi won a mansion, he calls Mario to come over his new mansion, Luigi arrives there, but doesn't find Mario, and freaks out when a ghost appears. Then a freak old guy named Prof. Elvin Gadds appears and sucks up the ghost. Thus starts Luigi's Journey.

Buy or Rent: Ok, to a true Mario fan, your gonna buy this. But it'll also take a whole rental to beat this game too. So:

Mario Fan: GET IT
Just has GCN: Rent it

It costs 49.99.

Final Word: Like Mario? Buy it.This game has great story, sound, and Graphics. 4 great combinations into one glorious package.
