![]() ![]() Introduction: Welcome to my first MB Gold Review. I just recently bought Mario Kart Super Circuit at Target, and well, this is my review. Now, being 3rd in the line of Mario Karts, this game made my jaw drop. Usually, games series (Well, I don't considerate this much of a "Series") are ruined by a 3rd sequel. But this made it the best, well in my opinion. Graphics: Alright, its almost the same as Super Mario Kart. But this is better! I mean, everything is crystal clear. The characters to me, look a little dark, while the backround is bright, in most courses. The only thing I don't like about this whole game is the races on your small tiny screen. Aren't we all used to playing Mario Karts on big screens? But it won't take long for you to adjust. Audio/Sound: Alright, this is the same beautiful music you get from like the other mario karts. I love the music. In fact, as I type, I have the snow level theme stuck in my head. The music won't make you turn down the volume, unless you've been playing straight for days and is about to go on the verge of insanity! The sound is almost the same as the other Kart racers from the past. You got the bannana, you Star theme, and the car spinning out of control. Gameplay/Controls: I don't mind some of the new controls. I got used to playing on that danged N64 joystick. But I think its easier with your control pad. The only thig new is how you fire your item. Now you press L, instead of A. Other than that, its the same. Yeah, no more explaining on this subject, now on to the next. Challenge: yeah, its a challenge. Well, when your at 50 CC at Peach Circuit (First track) its sorta easy. Then try 150 CC on Rainbow Road (Its not Mario Kart without Rainbow Road) Big difference isn't it? I say some parts are easy, and some are hard. But hey, the more you practice, the more easier it sorta gets. Reply Value: Well duh! Of course. 20 new tracks, and 20 old ones, from Super Mario Kart. To make better replay, Try out different tracks with Different players, on different CCs. Buy or Borrow: Buy BUY BUY! You won't be disapointed. Final Line: The 3rd is the best. So far. Who knows, maybe Mario Kart Cube will be better. But for now, Its a good game. But first, borrow or rent to see if you like it, then buy. But otherwise, if your a die hard mario fan like me, then buy it! I bought the last one at the store!
