Super Mario Bros

Intro: If you haven't played this game, then you must be some fan boy or Mario hater. Everyone should've at least played this game once in their life. This game got me into video gaming. At age 2, I was only able to past Level 1, but this game changed my life. Well, sort of. Just read on...

Graphics: This game was the first side scroller. What could I say?! Blocky, old, junky, boring graphics. That was cool in 1985!

Story: This seems to be the game that made the genre "Save Princess! Defeat Evil King" story. This is the storyline of most Mario games. But here's the story in depth.
"It was a peaceful day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Until King Bowser Koopa of the Koopa tribe attacked! He turned the mushroom people into blocks, plants, ect. Princess Toadstool was captured and put in a dungeon. Mario and Luigi heard of this, and set out on one of the biggest adventures yet: to stop King Koopa and rescue Princess Toadstool."

Controlls: A, jump. B, run, or fire fireballs. Control pad to move. Easy enuff? Yep. Easy enuff for a 2 year old to handle.

Sound: Classic tunes, coin noises. Yes! Half of the music here is classic! The coin noise, the level ending noise!

Buy or Rent: If you have a NES, SNES, or GBC, then chances are you own it!

Bottom Line: If you haven't played this, rent Mario DX. If it's not avaliable, you're scarred. This game is a classic, and started it all!
