Spyro Review

Number of Players: 1

Spryo lived in a land of dragons, and all was right. Then someone began turning dragons into crystals. Now he must free them all and stop the one who has done this.

Graphics: Everything looks cool. Nothing is too blocky, but you can tell that these aren't Playstation 2 graphics.

Play Control: Taking advantage of all four buttons plus the joystick, this Playstation game wastes nothing. Each action comes easily off the finger. Game response is wonderfully accurate, almost as if you were Spyro himself.

Sound: The stage music, the voices, the flaming of enemies--it's all here, and quite wonderful, too.

Challenge: It goes from beginner easy to a good difficulty, not to mention the bosses which are also very cool.

Gameplay: Spyro runs around an endlessly expanding world setting foes ablaze, headbutting things, and most importantly freeing dragons.

The Bottom Line: If you liked Super Mario 64, you will want this game for your Playstation. A great addition to any library, and it is fun to revisit, too.
