![]() ![]() Feel: A Gamecube controller without the middle space at the bottom. It's annoying at first, but one gets used to it. Look: Light gray, no middle space, otherwise a standard Gamecube controller. Pros: No wires to tangle and more freedom of where to sit, especially since its radio signals allow more freedom of position (as opposed to infra-red, which requires no obstacles and use a little aligned with the receiver). Cons: The batteries wear out hilariously quick. I've used wireless controllers before, and they usually hold out at least a year before giving up on me. This is all an hour or so every night, mind you. The Wavebird, however, gave out after two months.
Bottom Line: Even though I hate wire tangles, the Wavebird is not my reccommended solution. I don't like replacing batteries that often.
