Wario Ware Review
Year Released: 2003 (Gameboy Advance)
Number of Players: 2
Wario's newest scheme to make money. He sees an advertisement of how well video games are selling, so he gathers up a crew and make there own video games.
Graphics: Good graphics, though it's mostly two-dimentional. The three-dimentional microgames don't look quite as good as the others, but it's easy not to notice it. Some actual pictures are also used.
Control: If this isn't simple, nothing is. All that's used is the D-pad and the A button. In most of the microgames, all you need to do is press A or steer left and right. Makes for a good game to just pick up and play.
Sound: Virtually the same sound scheme heard in Wario Land 4. Wario's voice and phrases are the same, alongside the rest of the characters that design microgames. The music has the same sort of sound to it as it did when Wario Land 4 came out.
Challenge: All the challenge comes when you get the harder versions of the games and when they start going faster, especially Orbulon's games. Getting the score challenge for any particular microgame can be hard. Without all the extra minigames unlocked, the game can be completed pretty quickly.
Gameplay: You need to think quickly to play this game. You'll be doing one thing for a few seconds, then you'll all of a sudden be playing another game. There will be one or two word explanations at the start of each microgame, so you have some guideline of what you should do.
Bottom Line: This is a fun game. Great for people who don't put a lot of time into video gaming, because you can just pick it up and play. This doesn't mean intense video gamers won't like it. You can spend time in it beating the score challenges and unlocking the extra minigames. Either way, it's definitely a good game.
