A Albatoss: Super Mario Bros. 2, American
Version, Super Mario Advance This was a bird that dropped Bob-ombs as it flew by.
Alley Rat: Super Mario RPG This guy
uses a lot o' poison. Found in the Sunken Ship.
Amanita: Super Mario RPG Amanita is
a mushroom that turned you into a mushroom mostly. Found in the Forest
Maze.
Amazin' Flyin' Hammer Bro: Super Mario
World AFHB was an interesting Hammer Bro, flying by on two grey blocks as he
tossed about hammers. A real toughy.
Ameba: Super Mario RPG Ameba isn't
the one-celled creature described in science books here, but instead a
mechanical blue mushroom. Basicly an Amanita with better stats.
Amp: Super Mario 64 Amp flies
around, and whenever you touch it it zaps you. It goes in a simple pattern, so
it's easy enough to avoid.
Appleby: Wario Land 3, Dr. Mario 64 This little guy burrows and uses apples. I don't know much else, since I've only seen him in Dr. Mario 64.
Autobomb: Super Mario Bros. 2 American Version, Super Mario Advance This is a cannon on wheels. After you knock the Shyguy off it, you can ride it over spikes.
Axem Black: Super Mario RPG One o'
the Axem Rangers. Defeat this one after Axem Green.
Axem Green: Super Mario RPG Another
Axem Ranger. Take out this one after Pink.
Axem Pink: Super Mario RPG Knock
out this gal first before any other Axem Ranger.
Axem Rangers: Super Mario RPG The
big mechanical head at the back o' the Axem Ranger's ship. After one-two
charging turns, it blasts at the three heroes you have picked to
battle.
Axem Red: Super Mario RPG This
should be the last Axem Ranger you defeat.
Axem Yellow: Super Mario RPG Focus
your attacks on her after you've gotten Black out o' the way.
B Baby
Bowser: Super Mario World 2 This is the main boss o' SMW2 and
YI64. Don't know much 'bout 'im, since I've only rented SMW2 and
YI64.
Bandana Blue: Super Mario
RPG General baddie, but they're on the Sunken Ship right before Jonathan Jones.
Ball 'n' Chain: Super Mario World
These swing in circles. Mario and Luigi can pass the chain, but if they touch the ball with spikes, they get hurt.
Bandana Red: Super Mario RPG A
little tougher than the Bandana Blues.
Banzai Bill: Super Mario World This is an overgrown Bullet Bill. A spin jump in turns it
into dust, though.
Batadon: Super Mario Land The stone
enemies with wings that hop along. They aren't very hard to avoid or
eliminate--jump on it instead o' using superballs, though.
Battle Beatle: Super Mario Land
2 An average enemy that lives in the forest. It can be beaten either with a
jump or a fireball.
Beezley: Wario Land 4
When this bug stings Wario, his face will puff up like a balloon and become Puffy Wario(see Wario Forms).
Beezo: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western), Super Mario Advance
These are flying monkeys with spears.
Big Bertha: Super Mario
Brothers(Movie) She seems like an enemy at first. Later on, though, she helps
the Mario Bros. escape.
Big Bird: Super Mario Land 2 This
one doesn't have an official name. It's the boss o' the forest. Just bonk its
head three times.
Big Boo/The "Big Boo": Super Mario World, Super
Mario World 2, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64 An enormous Boo Buddy. Like a Banzai Bill to a Bullet Bill.
Biokinton: Super Mario Land Boss of
the Chai Kingdom(4th level). Just keep shootin' till it comes out o' its cloud,
then shoot a lot more. Try to get the Chickens it shoots at you for extra
points.
Birdo: Super Mario Bros. 2 American
Version, Super Mario RPG, Mario Tennis 64, Super Mario Advance At first its kind thought it was girls when it was really boys, but
over the time from SMB2 to Mario Tennis their species turned into real
females.
Depending on its color, it will spit out different things.
Pink-Eggs Green-Eggs and Fire Balls Red-Fire Balls
Use the eggs it spits at you or a nearby Mushroom Block to hit it three
times. Afterwards, it will give you a bubble and you can pass through the crow
head.
Blargg: Super Mario World
These are bony lava creatures that lunge at you from underneath. Yoshi can jump on them and Mario can spin jump on one--both without getting hurt.
Blooper: Super Mario Bros., Super
Mario Bros. 2 Japanese Version, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario The
infamous Bloober. Fireballs and thunder strikes are affective on the SMRPG
counterpart.
Blurp: Super Mario World
A green Cheep-Cheep with a snorkel on. Yoshi can jump on it without getting hurt.
Bob-omb:
Super Mario Bros. 3, Super
Mario World, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, Mario vs. Donkey Kong
A wind-up time bomb. They flash
and pause right before exploding. In SMW, Yoshi can eat the
explosion.
In Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Mario can pick them up. They will blow up Bob-Omb Blocks.
Bony Beetle: Super Mario World, Paper Mario
They can be temporarily defeated by jumping on them, or altogether beaten by a swish of a cape. They protrude their spikes every now and then, and in Paper Mario, when you use a charge-up attack on it.
Boo Diddly: Super Mario Bros.
3 Also called Boo Buddy. These are the regular Boos.

Bookend: Super Mario 64 YIPES! In
the haunted house's library, these guys come flying at Mario. You just wanna stay
clear of them.
Boom Boom: Super Mario Bros. 3 The
guard at each fortress. Sometimes it flies, and has other ways to evade Mario
and Luigi. Just trounce it three times to defeat it.
Booster: Super Mario RPG This guy
doesn't get out much. At the top o' Booster's Tower, you can avoid fighting
Booster by winning the curtain game. You'll also get a very valuable Amulet for
doing so.
Bowser Clone: Super Mario RPG When
Belome comes back for a second round and eats Bowser, this guy comes up! Avoid
this tough guy by putting Mallow and the Princess in your party
instead.
Bowser Morton Koopa: Super Mario
Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2 Japanese Version, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario
World, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 AKA Bowser, Koopa, King
o' Koopas, etc. Mario's mortal enemy.
Bowyer: Super Mario RPG This guy
shoots random arrows into the nearby village. Stop him with the help o' Geno. Be
ready to not be able to use A, Y, or X in this battle.
Bucket Head: Super Mario Land 3: Wario
Land I don't own SML3, so I don't know much 'bout 'im.
Bullet Bill: Super Mario Bros., Super
Mario Bros. 2 Japanese Version, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super
Mario World 2, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64 As immortal as a Koopa
roll-wise, this guy only made a small cameo in SM64. Just defeat it by bopping
it.
Bunbun: Super Mario Land Only
appears in stage 1-2. Throws arrows down that are simple to evade.
Buzzy Beetle: Super Mario Bros., Super
Mario Bros. 2 Japanese Version, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World Like a
Koopa, 'cept undefeatable. Actually, you can beat it with a spin jump, but
that's all.
C Capt. Syrup
and the Black Sugar Gang: Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, Wario
Land 2 Wario's other enemy besides Mario. Wario stole her treasure, and in
WLII she gets it back. In the very end, Wario ends up with his cash again and
some extra from her dungeon.
Chain Chomp: Super Mario RPG Like a
Chomp, 'cept gold and it has more HP.
Chargin' Chuck: Super Mario
World Sadly, this guy only appeared in one game even though he was a great
foe. He charged at you and threw baseballs and footballs.
Cheep Cheep: Super Mario Bros., Super
Mario Bros. 2 Japanese Version, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super
Mario RPG Refered to as "stupid fish", "idiotic fish", and "those really
helpless fish that no one can figure out why they were made after they were
disgraced in later Mario games". In SMB and SMB2(Japanese), they were formidable
but that ended there.
Chibibo: Super Mario Land The same
as a Goomba, 'cept it's in Tatanga's army.
Chicken: Super Mario Land Only in
4-3. These guys randomly fly at you, and only take one bullet to beat. Biokinton
shoots these at you.
Chikako(Glitter): Super Mario
Land Also only in 4-3. They take 10 BULLETS to defeat!
Chomp: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super
Mario World 2, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64 This guy bites at Mario and
Luigi's heels. Watch out! Only Invincible Mario can kill 'em.
Chuckya: Super Mario 64 The huge
purply thing that has a stick and ball coming out it's head and two balls on
sticks for arms. Be sure not to let it pick you up, but grab it just like King
Bob-Omb.
Clawgrip: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western), Super Mario Advance
Cobrat: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western), Super Mario Advance This is a red snake that sometimes spits mini cannon balls.
Normally they hop out o' jars.
Cook: Wario Land 2 Cook throws
cakes at Wario to make 'im fat. Fat Wario can break blocks that regular Wario
can't.

(Dangerous Duck): Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, Wario Land
II D.D. throws out boomerangs which are quite easy to avoid.
Dino-Rhino: Super Mario
World Destroy this enemy with a spin jump or bounce on it with a normal jump
to make it Mini-Rhino.
Dino-Torch: Super Mario World
A Mini-Rhino.
Dodo: Super Mario
RPG Working with Valentina and having a rich life, this bird has become...
"oversized". He's Mallow's impostor and you know what to do: find a way to storm
in the castle and kick him and Valentina out.
Donkey Kong: Donkey
Kong, Donkey Kong 3 Now called Cranky Kong, this big ape hurled barrels at
Mario. He didn't, though, at Stanly; instead he threw bugs on which Stanly used
bug spray.
Donkey Kong Jr.: Donkey
Kong, Donkey Kong 3 DK's sidekick.
Dragonzamasu: Super
Mario Land In 2-3, Dragonzamasu throws fireballs at you. Shoot your way using
the bottom tunnel or battle it out. Either way, look out for the huge ball
called Tomao floating around defending the dragon.
Drill Bit: Super Mario
RPG Just a basic enemy found inside Exor.
Dropper: Super Mario
64(?) No clue. ^^0
E Eerie: Super Mario World This was a dinosaur-looking ghost that went in a
pattern across the screen.

Guy: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island A huge Shy
Guy.
Fighterfly: Mario
Bros.(Arcade) The huge flies.
Fishbone: Super Mario World
Fish Bones are to Cheep Cheep as Dry Bones are to Koopas.
Fishin' Boo: Super Mario World
These are the ghosts of Fishin' Lakitus. They are just as invulnerable to your attacks as Boos, and since they only dangle down blue fire, you would best steer clear.
"Cape-achuting" (using the patern of back on the control pad, rest for a few seconds, back, rest, etc.) is a good way since Mario or Luigi turns out okay and they float back invincible.
Fishin' Lakitu: Super Mario World
This Lakitu holds an item out on a pole. If you take it, (s)he'll become a regular Lakitu and start throwing Spinies at you.
Flurry: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western), Super Mario Advance A Shy Guy covered in snow. They skid along the ice, and when you
hop on them you're not going to stay on for long due to
slipperiness.
Fly: Super Mario Land Just jump on
it to kill, or shoot it with two superballs. They hop along the
ground.
Fly Guy: Super Mario
64 This Shy Guy relative flies through the air using propellers on their
head.
Fwoosh: Super Mario
64 On Tall, Tall Mountain this guy can blow off your hat. He's a huge
cloud.
G Gao: Super Mario Land In the pyramid o' 1-3,
these guys stay still and spit fireballs which bounce off the walls slower than
but like superballs.
Geckit: Super Mario
RPG They're the weakest in a battle bunch, and they often become confused and
hurt others, so save these for last.
Gecko: Super Mario
RPG See Geckit.
Geno Clone: Super Mario
RPG A Geno Clone created by Belome the second time you meet him if he eats
Geno.
Gira: Super Mario
Land A Bullet Bill-like enemy.
Goggley-Blade: Wario Land 4
Watch out for this fish's spear by taking care that it isn't looking in your direction.
Goomba: Super Mario
Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World,
Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64 These evil mushrooms walk along slowly. With
just one stomp, these guys are vanquished. In Super Mario World, if you bop it
regularly you can carry it for a short period of time, or just spin jump to
instantly kill it.

RPG They look like Donkey Kong. Go after these ones first in a
battle.
Gunion: Super Mario
Land An octopus-lookin' thing that is in 2-3. Shoot it with two torpedos and
in a last strike o' defense will shoot out two fireballs.
H Hammer-Bot Wario Land 3, Dr. Mario 64 This thing is big, but
it still moves at a normal pace. One wack from its hammers and you'll turn into
Spring Wario!
Hammer Bros. Super Mario Bros.,
Super Mario Bros. 2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario RPG In
SMB1-3, they stand on platforms and jump from one to another throwing hammers at
you. The best way to get them is fire ball 'em from far away. In SMRPG, though,
you need to do a timed jump and a timed punch for each bro to defeat them. Use a
Mushroom if your HP goes below 10. Heave-Ho Super Mario 64 Stand on their platform
to get to high places by getting flinged through the air. It throws you
backwards. Heavy Troopa Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario RPG These appear on Big Island in
SMB3. In SMRPG, try to defeat one as fast as possible because it will use a
heavy attack after three turns.
Helio: Wario Land 3, Dr. Mario 64 This is the balloon boss. He throws spears that you must dodge, or they'll make your head swell up and you'll float away.
Helmut Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land I don't
actually own the game, so don't ask me. Please e-mail me(go to the mailbag
section) if you have a good description. Hiyoihoi Super Mario Land This guy tosses rocks
at you in 3-3. Just jump on them to cross to him and then the button, or he can
be defeated with a LOT o' superballs.
Hoggus: Wario Land 4
This arial pig drops other pigs on you.
Honen Super Mario Land After Tatanga eats a
Torion, he leaves the bones out and they become this. They are unaffected by
superballs.
Hothead: Super Mario World
They roam castles and fortresses, rotating around concrete blocks.

Icicle Super Mario Advance Appears in Mario Bros. mode. They'll freeze a platform, making it slippery.

Koopa Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's
Safari In SMB3, he's just like every other kid. In Super Mario World, hop on
him and try to knock him off(jump on him and he'll slide to the side that's in
the lava).

Piranha Plant: Super Mario World Spin jump on it to simply
pass it, or shoot fire balls, eat it, or swish it away with your cape to get rid
of it.
Jumping Pumpkin Plant: Super Mario World
These oddities act just like a Jumpin' Piranha Plant, and the only difference is that it is a pumpkin.

Koopa: Paper Mario Bowser's advisor, I believe. A female
Magikoopa. Uses spells and the like to try to stop Mario.
King Totomesu: Super
Mario Land The first boss. Just shoot 5 superballs at 'im, or run behind him
and jump on the button.
Klepto the Condor: Super
Mario 64 He has the first star in Shifting Sand Land. When you chase down
this bird's star, watch out, because it will come at you in later visits to
steal your hat.
Koopa (Troopa): Super
Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario
World, Super Mario 64 In SMB1-2, just jump on it and kick it into enemies. In
SMB3, when it's hiding in its shell, you can grab and run with it. In SMW, you
can do the same--but when you jump on it, the koopa will slide out, so you can
hold it forever and not worry for it popping back out like in SMB3. In SMW2,
jump on it to stomp it or eat and spit it back out to defeat it. In Super Mario
64, if you manage to chase down the turtle with its shell then without, you'll
get a blue coin. You can ride on its shell until you hit into a wall. This will
help you get up steep slopes.
Kumo: Super Mario
Land This spider jumps along the third level. Jump on it or get it with two
superballs.
L Lakitu: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.
2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, Super
Mario 64 In SMB1-3, just stomp on it or put it on fire to defeat it. In SMW,
it is possible to ride in Lakitu's cloud for a short time when you land a
regular jump on it. Any other way o' gettin' rid o' it will make it and the
cloud dissappear. In SM64, jump up directly into the cloud to destroy
it.
Larry Koopa: Super Mario
Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi Safari In SMW, this Koopaling is just like
Iggy, except that you have three fireballs shooting up. Fire Mario is exremely useful here.
Lemmy Koopa: Super Mario
Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi Safari The SMW Lemmy plays a Wack-a-Lemmy
game with you. You've got to hit LEMMY, no one else, three times.
Li'l Boo: Super Mario
RPG Found in Smithy Factory, it isn't much o' a scare.
Lil Sparky: Super Mario World
A small Hothead. These guys move faster, though.
Ludwig Van Koopa: Super
Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi Safari When Ludwig Von Koopa shows up
in SMW, stomp on him out of his shell and avoid his fireballs. Be
agile when he goes back in his shell!
M Machine
Made: Axem Black: Super Mario RPG See Axem
Black.

invisible. As Invisible Wario, pass through the gate with the eye at the top,
and become visible by passing through pipes.
Magikoopa: Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Mario RPG In SMW, just avoid him and his block mutations.
He can float in mid-air, so don't destroy platforms he stands on. In SMRPG, just
work on him and whatever he makes equally.
Magna Bill: Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island This is an overgrown Bullet Bill.
Mallow Clone: Super
Mario RPG The weakest o' the clones. Just attack him and everyone else
equally.
Manager: Super Mario
RPG Battle him and Gun Yolk equally. Don't worry about FP and HP, because
afterwards you're instantly healed.
Mario Clone: Super Mario
RPG Just 50 HP stronger than Mallow Clone, just do as I said for
him.
Masked Koopa: Super Mario World
These koopas walk around with Mario masks. When you bop them, their mask comes off, taking the shell with it.
Mechakoopa: Super Mario
World These wind-up monsters can be jumped on to carry for a short time, or
spin-jumped on to destroy totally.
Mega Mole: Super Mario
World Down below, these are big Monty Moles. Have Yoshi eat or whip
around your cape to destroy them.
Mekabon: Super Mario
Land This guy sends his head flying at'cha. Just watch out and jump on his
head and/or body.
Mighty Mouse: Super
Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins Just like Morton Koopa Jr. in SMW, except he
goes in pipes. In the Macro Zone.
Mini-Rhino: Super Mario
World Watch out for this little flame thrower!
Monchee:
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Mario can ride atop one of these, or more usefully, ride on their tail, which dangles below them for a good distance. If he touches the sides of their body, though, he's dead.
Money Bags: Super Mario 64 Chase around and dive at to get all the money inside and get rid of this
pest.
Monty Mole: Super Mario
World A regular enemy, just like Goombas in SMB 1, 2(Japanese), and 3. Except
these come out of the ground.
Morton Koopa Jr.: Super
Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi Safari He'll run up a wall and come
crashing down. Be sure not to be on the ground then, or you'll be paralyzed for
a few seconds. Jump on him when he's on the ground.
Mouser: Super Mario
Bros. 2(American), Super Mario Advance Pick up his bombs and toss them back at him.
N Ninji: Super Mario Bros. 2(Western), Super Mario
World, Super Mario Advance They sorta look like cats without a body. They just hop up and down.
Noko Bombette: Super Mario Land 2: 6
Golden Coins This is a combo o' Nokobon and Buzzy Beatle. Only a spin jump
will defeat it. Without an explosion a few seconds later.
Nokobon: Super Mario
Land When you stomp on it, you have a few seconds to get away and escape the
explosion.
Nyololin: Super Mario Land A
snake that stays put, but shoots poison balls. A later version o'
Gao.
O Ostro: Super Mario Bros. 2(American), Super Mario Advance
They run by with a Shy Guy on their back. In Super Mario Advance, if you take out both it and its Shy Guy, you will receive a heart.
P Pakkun
Flower: Super Mario Land Just like a Piranha
Plant.
Para-Bomb: Super Mario World
Bob-Ombs that float down with parachutes.
Para-Goomba: Super Mario World
These Goombas use parachutes to float down and launch an arial asault on the Mario Bros.
Para-Koopa: Super Mario Bros.,
Super Mario Bros. 2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's
Safari, Super Mario RPG Just a flying koopa. Sometimes it will hop along, and
sometimes it flies.
Penkoon: Super Mario Land 3:
Wario Land A mix between a penguin and a raccoon.
Phanto: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western) A Phanto is a mask that guards a key. Once you take that key away,
it'll chase you.
Pidgit: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western) These are the things that ride the magic carpets before
you.
Pidgit Bill: Super Mario World When
you beat the Special Zone, Bullet Bills are replaced with Pidgits.
Pinwheel: Super Mario RPG Outside
o' battle, they will blow you away. Keep the Pinwheel in Monster Town at breeze
so you can pass through Nimbus Castle's corridors.
Pionpi: Super Mario
Land These might look like Chinese ballet dancers, but they're actually old
guy ghosts. Only two superballs can bring them down.
Piranha Flower: Super Mario
RPG An advanced Pirahna Plant.
Piranha Plant: Super Mario
Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario
RPG These come in and out o' pipes. A horrible mutation o' the venus fly
trap, they will snap at Mario's heels.
Pirate Goom: Super Mario Land
3: Wario Land They look like goombas with arms that carry around a spear. Be
careful o' the spear.
Pompon Flower: Super Mario
Land It walks around on the ground. The black ball it spits is poisonous
pollen. Stomp on it or use a superball to defeat it.
Pouncer: Wario Land A
Thwomp.
Porcupo: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western), Super Mario Advance
Punch: Wario Land 2 Though small,
it can punch you HARD. Aproach it as a Pirate Goom.
Porcu-Puffer: Super Mario World

Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Mario can ride on the back of one of these, or pick it up and throw it somewhere else. If Mario touches its sides, though, he's dead.
Reznor: Super Mario World
These dragons that curl up into a ball were once nice inhabitants, but Bowser found a way to use them for his evil gains. Knock all four off their platform to clear the fortress.
Rex: Super Mario World These purple, flightless dragons take two stomps or one spin jump to squash.
Rip Van Fish: Super Mario
World As you swim by, these fish will wake up. They can't swim through walls,
so try to out-manuver them. If you can't, just fireball or whip your cape at
them.

Land They look like a Lakitu piloting a plane. Watch their fire, and shoot
back.
Roy Koopa: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Safari
One of Bowser's koopalings.

Creeper: Mario Bros.(Arcade) An early koopa.
Shy Away: Super Mario
RPG This is the red Shy Guy with a propeller on its back.
After you beat Valentina, his boss, if you wander out into space on the right
edge o' Nimbus Land, he'll give you Fertilizer. That'll go perfect with the Seed
you got from the note Shy Away left behind. Go to Rose Town and look for an
extra scene end. Go into it, and you'll reach a house. Give the old man inside
both, and a huge beanstalk will rise. Make like Jack and climb it, up to Lazy
Shells. Give Mario the weapon and Toadstool the armor.
Shy Guy: Super Mario Bros.
2(American), Super Mario RPG, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's
Story, Super Mario Advance, Mario vs. Donkey Kong These are the little multi-color enemies behind masks. In Yoshi's
Story, be sure to eat one o' your own color. Change the color o' 'em by simply
pownding the ground near them.
Shyper: Super Mario RPG The
gold thing at the left edge o' screen(in the first Smithy battle). They'll be
made by Smelter's red liquid and Smithy in the first battle, so be sure to
attack Smelter a little more than Smithy.
Shyster: Super Mario
RPG They're Mack's body guards. Just time Mallow's Thunderbolt to clear 'em
out.
Sidestepper: Mario
Bros.(Arcade) They look like crabs. Watch out, don't jump on
them!
Skeeter: Super Mario 64 In
the land where you control water height, these will jet for a short period o'
time across the water. They're weak to every kind o' attack.
Sir Shovalot:
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
These guys can't be picked up and will shove Mario into a wall, proving their name apt. If he ducks, they can shove him through a small hole he couldn't normally fit through. Watch out, because they can flatten him up against a wall, costing him a life.
Skeleton Bee: Super Mario Land
2 Self-explanatory. Only a spin jump will put it down for the
count.
Slipice: Mario
Bros.(Arcade) No idea... just looks like an ice block.
Snifit: Super Mario Bros.
2(American), Super Mario RPG These are Shy Guys that shoot out little
cannonballs o' their mouth.

snowman that throws snowballs. Run around in circles to defeat.

2(Western) These are black and white things that move on a single
surface.
Spearbot: Wario Land 3 This robot
sees chasing Wario as a competition. In different levels it makes Wario
different things.
Spearhead: Wario Land 3 A
specie o' Goom, even though its spear is where its nose is.
Spear-Mask: Wario Land 4
When Wario stomps the ground, they change color from yellow to blue to red, then back to yellow. They get progressively difficult(yellow is the easiest, red is the hardest). Switch them to yellow and ground pound them.
Spike: Super Mario
Bros.(Movie) He's the second Koopa cousin(to Lemmy).
Spiked Koopa: Super Mario Land
3: Wario Land The first boss.
Spindrift: Super Mario 64 If
you do a regular jump on it, you'll float up and then continually down 'till you
hit a wind draft or hit the ground.
Spiketop: Super Mario World, Paper Mario
These are like Spinies, but they have only one spike atop their shell. They can climb steps.
Spiny: Super Mario Bros., Super
Mario Bros. 2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario
64 Just don't hop on 'em! Any item or special power defeats 'em,
though.
Stretch: Super Mario Bros.
3 Two boos are connected to a white bar and pop out every now and then to
float about.
Sumo Brother: Super Mario
World As they kick, they send down lightning and set the ground on fire.
Watch out for that! The manual says that they karate chop you, but as hard as
I try they won't do it to me.
Super Koopa: Super Mario
World The koopas in capes. You can get a Cape Feather from the flashing
ones.
Sushi: Super Mario 64, Mario
Party 2 An invincible shark. If you land on its space in Pirate Land in
MPy2, then he'll automatically take you to another island.
Suu: Super Mario Land They
come down from the ceiling on invisible webs. Two superballs or one hop to 0
defeat them.
Swoop: Super Mario 64 This
cloud on Tall, Tall, Mountain will blow off your cap witch will land on
Ukkiki.
Swooper: Super Mario World
These are the green bats found rampant in the early Vanilla Dome Stages.
T Tamao: Super Mario Land The big round thing that
swims around in Dragonzamasu's chamber. It's his invincible body
guard.
Tatanga: Super Mario
Land After you meet Biokinton, you'll face Tatanga. Just stay on the left
side moving up and down to avoid his hits and keep the B button down for rapid
fire. After several hits he'll go down.
Terrapin: Super Mario
RPG The koopa guards at the beginning.
Three Mean Pigs: Super Mario
Land 2 At the end o' the Mario Zone, you'll find these. Each pig takes
three jumps or five fire balls. On the last one, just avoid it and jump up to
where you think it'll land.
Thwimp: Super Mario World A
small thwomp. It's faster than one, so watch out!
Thwomp: Super Mario Bros. 3,
Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 A huge stone with an angry face will hurl
itself down at Mario and Luigi. Try to run through when it's going
up.
Toadstool 2(AKA Toadstool Clone): Super Mario RPG I think she has healing powers... just don't put
Toadstool in your party! :O
Tokotoko: Super Mario
Land The huge stones that run along the ground. Just try to avoid
'em.
Torion: Super Mario Land In
2-3, they come in squads o' three. They'll follow where you are, so when they're
set, just go up or down some.
Torpedo Ted: Super Mario
World They look like underwater Bullet Bills and are only in one stage--Soda
Lake. They come shooting out of cannons and are invincible. Watch
out!
Tryclyde: Super Mario Bros.
2(Western) A level boss in SMB2. Keep agile around their
flames!
Tub-o-Troopa: Super Mario RPG Try
to get it out o' the way before it finishes charging up for its
attack.
U Ukkiki: Super Mario 64 This is a monkey. If it
steals your hat, chase it down the way you did to the rabbit in the basement o'
the castle.
Upside Down (Headstand) Pakkun: Super Mario Land Just like Upside-Down Piranha Plant.
Upside-Down Piranha Plant: Super Mario Bros. 2(Japanese), Super Mario Bros. 3 Just a Piranha
Plant coming down out a pipe.
Urchin: Super Mario World A
big fish with spikes all over. Only Grab Blocks will defeat
it.
V Valentina: Super Mario RPG The queen of Nimbus
Land when you get there. Before you go back on the Trampoline after falling
off the edge, be sure to have Bowser in the middle, because he will be
alone.
Volcano Lotus: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World
This unusual plant sprouts out small red balls that are harmful to Mario and crew.

Goom: Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land A harmless Pirate
Goom.
Wario: Super Mario Land 2, Dr. Mario 64 As
the boss o' SML2, he is Mario's arch-nemesis and childhood playmate. He comes
in three forms. The first form is normal, and every time he lands, he'll send a
bottle hurtling down that can hurt you and you'll be paralyzed for a little bit
if you're on the ground at the time. The same case is in the other two forms. In
rabit form, just stay on top o' him. In fire form, be VERY agile.
Wart: Super Mario Bros.
2(American) As the boss o' SMB2 American(or SMB USA over in Japan), defeating
this huge toad will save the Sub-Conians. Avoid his bubbles and catch the
vegetables sprouting out o' the machine. Keep in mind that bubbles stop the
veggies, but Wart can't turn around.
Wendy O. Koopa: Super Mario
Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi Safari In SMB3, she's like the rest of the
Koopalings, except that her blasts stick around! In SMW, she's just like
Lemmy.
Whomp: Super Mario 64 These
huge stones will chase and squish you. Run from them just as they drop, and
pound on them.
Wiggler: Super Mario World,
Yoshi's Story Just let Yoshi eat it.
Y Yaridovich: Super Mario RPG You'll meet 'im
after you fork over your star in Seaside Town, and you go into the back o'
town.. Bring plenty of Bad Mushrooms with Mario, Toadstool, and Mallow in
tow.
Yurarin: Super Mario
Land Looks like a seahorse. 2 torpedos to defeat.
Yurarin Boo: Super Mario
Land This is a Yurarin that jumps out o' the water and shoots fireballs.
Superballs won't affect it.
