Baby Bowser: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Every so often, he'll turn into big Bowser and do triple damage.

Bob-Omb: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. The little guy goes right past your opponent's partners and attacks them directly.

Blue Yoshi: Super Mario World
After eating any shell, a blue yoshi can fly as long as it doesn't swallow the shell.

Bombette: Paper Mario
She can blow through walls and blast enemies, too.

Boo: Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3
Helps you steal coins and stars. In Mario Party 3, he's also one of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. If Boo's attacked, it retaliates, doing the same amount of damage.

Bow: Paper Mario
This lady boo buddy can go invisible and scare foes. Bowser: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
The great king o' the koopas was thrown out o' his own castle, so he joins Mario and co. to regain his keep.

C

Chomp: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Attacks all members of the opposing team.

G

Geno: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
A guardian o' the Star Road who has come down to fix the problem, he has mystical powers.

Goomba: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Has no special abilities, but is a cheap, all-around partner to watch your back.

Goombario: Paper Mario
A friendly Goomba. Helps you battle Bowser's minions.

Green Yoshi: Super Mario World
This yoshi specie can do it all, depending on the shell. These properties apply to the different yoshies, even in different colors(just add the specialty to the one they already have).
Green Shell: Nothin' special. It acts just as if Mario/Luigi were holding a shell.
Blue Shell: Makes yoshi fly as long as it doesn't swallow the shell.
Red Shell: When spit out, it splits into three fireballs.
Yellow Shell: As long as the shell isn't swallowed, yoshi stomps the ground hard enough to defeat some enemies(has the same affect as Caped Mario/Luigi coming straight down into the ground).

K

Keyzer: Wario Land 4
You must reach the portal with this bird. There are even enemies that will steal it!

Koopa Troopa: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Has good defense, so he's good to place in the rear.

Kooper Koopa: Paper Mario
A friendly Koopa who helps Mario defeat Bowser's army with his powerful shell attack.

Lakilester: Paper Mario
This Lakitu blows at enemies with wind and hurls spinies.

M

Mallow: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
A Nimbus Land prince, Mallow journeys with Mario to find his real parents and eventually finds out he's a prince. He controls the weather.

Mr. Blizzard: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Attacks the farthest enemy party member.

Parakarry: Paper Mario
As a friendly para-koopa, Parakarry is a mail-deliverer that can fly Mario.

Piranha Plant: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Has the strongest attack, but also requires the highest salary.

Poochy: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Story
He sniffs out secrets for you to pound and find.

Red Yoshi: Super Mario World
When a red yoshi spits out a shell, it splits into three fireballs.

S

Snifit: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Evey turn, he'll give coins to you.

Susie: Paper Mario
She's a Cheep Cheep that can swim well and attacks with water.

T

Thwomp: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. He can defeat your rival's nearest partner in one move.

Toad: Super Mario 64, Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3
Gives advice in SM64 and sells stars in the Mario Party games. In Mario Party 3, he's one of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. When he's in your party, you'll never have to pay a fee for landing in your opponent's spot.

Toadstool: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
AKA Princess Peach Toadstool. She was recovered by Mario from Booster's grasp in Marrymore. She brings special magic to the group.

Watt: Paper Mario
This blazing sun creates light to brighten rooms and can electricute baddies.

Whomp: Mario Party 3
One of the partners you can hire in Duel Mode. Can't attack but has the highest Stamina.

Y

Yellow Yoshi: Super Mario World
When a shell is in, a yellow yoshi stomps the ground hard.

Yoshi: Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64
Although this dino has made many appearances, he was only a helper in three games.
In SMRPG, you race him against a bad yoshi, Boshi. After you win, he gives you Yoshi Cookies to call upon Yoshi when in trouble. In Super Mario 64, he appeares on top o' the castle after you get 120 stars. Shoot up there in the cannon to get 100 lives and a better triple jump.
